Abstract: 
This workshop aims to get you started with Drupal by showing you how to install Drupal using the Damp installation (http://acquia.com/documentation/acquia-drupal-stack) and creating your first site. CTISN (http://ctisn.com) staff have kindly donated USB pens pre-installed with all software needed and will be on hand to help.

DFEY-NW is a group formed in response from a growing need in the Northwest of England for a Group to encourage and promote young people's involvement with the free software community by creating a social space to make it more comfortable for young people to get involved with Local Technical Groups. This will be a open discussion session for anyone to voice their opinions and get the opinions of young people on various issues relating to technology. It would also be interesting to get the opinions of people on how to get more young people into technology using Drupal...
